Application of nuclear methods (mainly of Mössbauer spectroscopy) in

• solid state physics,
• materials sciences,
• inorganic/physical chemistry.

Special interest:

Nuclear resonant scattering of synchrotron radiation:

• Synchrotron Mössbauer Reflectometry,
• magnetic thin films (coupling, anisotropy, domain formation and transformation)

Mössbauer emission spectroscopy:

• low-energy electronic excitations following the electron capture,
• aliovalent charge states and their relaxation.

Other methods:

• Rutherford backscattering,
• x-ray reflectometry,
• polarised neutron reflectometry
