GENERAL INFORMATION

Registration

The registration fee for ICAME'97 will be US$ 450 for scientific participants if paid by June 1, 1997. The fee after this date will be US$ 550. The fee for acompanying persons will be US$ 180 before June 1, 1997 and US$ 250 after this date. To encourage students and Latin American scientists to participate, funding is being sought to partially support them. The registration fee covers attendence to all sessions of the conference and some social program events, the book of abstracts, the conference proceedings and refreshments during conference breaks.
Mailing of the second circular will be restricted to those returning this questionaire.
The Brazilian airlines VARIG will be the official airline carrier of the conference.

Exhibits

Mössbauer instrumentation companies, as well as firms that provide radioactive Mössbauer sources and other equipments and supply items for Mössbauer spectroscopy, will exhibit their products.
