It is available from the SIMNRA Home Page at http://www.rzg.mpg.de/~mam/ SIMNRA is a Microsoft Windows program for the simulation of backscattering spectra for ion beam analysis with MeV ions. SIMNRA is mainly intended for the simulation of non-Rutherford backscattering, nuclear reactions and elastic recoil detection analysis (ERDA). More than 300 different non-Rutherford and nuclear reactions cross-sections for incident protons, deuterons, 3He, 4He and Li-ions are included. SIMNRA can calculate any ion-target combination including incident heavy ions and any geometry including transmission geometry and arbitrary foils in front of the detector. See the SIMNRA Home Page for more details. WHAT'S NEW IN VERSION 6.0 * Simulation and subtraction of pile-up with realistic electronic pulse shapes for analogue amplifiers and digital signal processors, with or without pile-up rejector * Additional stopping power models: SRIM 2003, Kalbitzer (for H and He in C and Si), user defined * Additional detector types: Time-of-flight detectors, electrostatic detectors, thin solid state detectors with transmission of particles * Straggling due to charge state fluctuations * Improved user interface, designed for rapid data analysis * Easy identification of unknown peaks in RBS and ERDA spectra with element indicator A full list of changes can be found at http://www.rzg.mpg.de/~mam/Version6.html SIMNRA is a shareware program. You can use SIMNRA for a trial period of 30 days without fee. If you want to use SIMNRA after this period, the pricing is as follows: 250 Euro Single license 100 Euro Upgrade for registered users of any previous version of SIMNRA See http://www.rzg.mpg.de/~mam/Installation.html for details.
