Scope: This workshop is aimed at consolidating the approaches used in low, medium and high energy ion scattering and recoiling to attain atomic layer resolution in surface analysis and to study the structure of the outermost few layers including ultra-shallow interfaces. The issues to be considered include present and future applications, experimental technique, apparatus and computer simulations.
