Marco Ricci, Sebastiano Ricci's nephew also traveled widely and often worked in tandem with his uncle in England and Venice. His tender Southern Landscape at Twilight suggests Marco's interest in the work of Northern contemporaries for the spatial dialogue established by the trees in the fore- and middle grounds.
