The second relief of the narrative cycle depicts the Journey and Adoration of the Magi. It begins with horsemen riding in from the left with other animals, such as camels and dogs. In the upper right corner is the scene with Jesus being adored by the Magi while sitting on his mother's lap. The trees above the Magi suggest a landscape.
