Tullio Lombardo's last sculptural commissions were probably largely executed by assistants. The tomb for Matteo Bellati in Feltre Cathedral, signed and dated 1528, is a simpler version of a well-known Lombardo tomb type, and the carving is of indifferent quality. The Pietà accompanied by saints that Tullio designed for the church of Santi Francesco e Giustina, Rovigo falls into the same category.
