This miniature on folio 182r of this manuscript shows an allegory of heresy, with the Devil at the preacher's ear. It is Giovanni di Paolo's illustration to a verse in Dante's Paradiso, where Beatrice speaks of preachers who do not follow orthodox doctrine.
