The Baroncelli Chapel is located at the end of the right transept in the church of Santa Croce. The frescoes on the walls were executed by Taddeo Gaddi in the 1330s. On the pillars of the arcade are two statuettes of the Annunciation by Giovanni di Balduccio. The tomb of the Baroncelli family, also sculpted by Giovanni di Balduccio, is on the external wall at right.

The most famous artwork in the chapel is Giotto's Baroncelli Polyptych on the altar.
