This relief is on the Resurrection Pulpit. The choice of this motif, so unusual within the context of episodes from the life of Christ, is probably due to the fact that the church of San Lorenzo was dedicated to St Lawrence.
Recently, the date of 14 June 1465 was discovered on this relief.
