Small Tree with Inscription (fragment)

This fragment - together with another representing the head of the Redeemer, also in Gallerie dell'Accademia - belonged to a lost altarpiece in the church of San Salvador in Venice.

On the inscription: IOANNES BELLI / NVS MEPINXIT".
