Blackwell Synergy is the online journals service from Blackwell Publishing. It holds the full-text articles of over 850 journals, the majority of which are published by Blackwell on behalf of international scholarly and professional societies. The subjects covered range across Medicine, Science, Social Science and the Humanities

Journal tables of contents and article abstracts are available for all to browse. Access to the full-text journal articles is available through library subscriptions worldwide, and to individual subscribers and society members. Many articles are also available free after a certain time or through OnlineOpen, Blackwell Publishing's open access model

All users of Blackwell Synergy can use the Quick Search or Advanced Search functions to find specific articles or browse by subject and journal to discover research in a particular area.

E-alerts are available for journal tables of contents, new articles by topic or author, OnlineEarly and OnlineAccepted articles published ahead of the journal issue, and alerts when a selected article is cited. All these e-alerts are available as RSS newsfeeds or as e-mail alerts if you register on Blackwell Synergy.
