This manuscript is a fragment, a Picture Bible which was probably the prefatory cycle preceding a Psalter.
This full-page miniature depicting scenes of the martyrdom of Sts Lawrence, Vincent of Saragossa, Denis and Thomas Becket is the illumination on folio 28v of this manuscript, coming from the Benedictine Abbey of Saint-Bertin in Saint-Omer (now in ruins).
