This manuscript of 468 folios (580 x 396 mm) contains the Bible in two volumes. It is illustrated by 64 initials, 46 pages are fully illuminated.
In the initial prefixing the Book of Jeremiah, God is shown appearing to Jeremiah, who reels back in astonishment in the upper right-hand corner of the initial. The use of scrolls of speech is similar to modern cartoons.
