This altarpiece was executed perhaps for the Manetti Chapel in Santa Maria del Carmine, Florence, which was frescoed by Spinello Aretino. The represented saints in the altarpiece are Sts John the Baptist, Anthony Abbot, Catherine and Mary Magdalen.
